The Hollywood Bowl Museum provides tours and educational activities for school groups, adult groups, and families. See below for details.
School Group Tours
Tours for school groups are available by advanced appointment Tuesday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to noon, year-round.
Family Visits
Families may visit the museum during the museum's public hours without appointment. The exhibits are very "kid-friendly," and interactive, with music-making, computers, earphones to listen to music, slideshows, movies, TV shows, and cartoons featuring the Hollywood Bowl. You may also walk up Peppertree Lane and visit the Bowl year-round. On most summer mornings, you are welcome to bring children into the Bowl to listen to a rehearsal.
Adult Group Tours
Senior citizen groups, tour groups, and others can visit the museum by appointment. Your visit includes a walking tour of the Hollywood Bowl and a museum visit. Group Sizes
70 maximum. School groups must provide one adult for each ten children.
Activities
Your visit consists of a walking tour of the Hollywood Bowl, music education activities, an arts and crafts project, and a museum tour.
Special Activity
If a class has a song prepared, they may be permitted to sing it onstage of the Hollywood Bowl if the stage is available. No videotaping or photography is permitted on stage.
Picnic Areas
Picnic areas are open throughout the Hollywood Bowl. You may bring lunches and picnic following your visit.
Open Rehearsals
Groups may attend rehearsals of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and Hollywood Bowl Orchestra during the summer.
Rain
In the event of rain, Museum and Bowl tours are cancelled.
