Vitalizing youth orchestras throughout L.A. County

The goal of this program is to help youth orchestras enhance their artistic capacities. The LA
Phil is partnering with eight youth orchestras for a two-year program, providing them with
systematic access to its resources ó its musicians and world-class venues. This program
provides top-quality orchestral instruction from the LA Phil through sectional and sideby-
side coaching, performance workshops, masterclasses, and conversations with LA Phil
musicians about professional careers in music. Select orchestras will have the opportunity
to perform in Walt Disney Concert Hall and at the Hollywood Bowl each season.
