The Los Angeles Philharmonic celebrates each of its season openings with extraordinary events that have become the city's proudest cultural traditions. Set in two iconic concert venues, these exciting parties raise significant operating funds which support the LA Phil and its education initiatives.

10th Anniversary of the Walt Disney Concert Hall
The Los Angeles Philharmonic Gala opens the season at Walt Disney Concert Hall. This year’s 10th Anniversary celebration will feature Maestro Gustavo Dudamel and world-renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma. This glamorous black-tie event will begin with red carpet arrivals, a pre-concert reception, prime seats for the concert followed by dinner and dancing under the Los Angeles skyline.
