We welcome all music lovers, men and women, along with present and past members of the business and professional community, who desire to support the orchestra and delve more deeply into the workings of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. With that in mind, many members of the B&P Committee fondly think of it as the "Backstage & Performers Committee" of the Los Angeles Philharmonic!
Our members benefit from enriched cultural education, meeting like-minded fellow members, social events, and the satisfaction that comes from supporting one of the world's greatest orchestras and its library. Our meetings are outstanding and varied. So if your passions include classical music and expanding your horizons, you've found your peers at the B&P!
The Los Angeles Philharmonic Business and Professional Committee hosts seven monthly luncheon meetings at Walt Disney Concert Hall, catered by the Patina Group at the Music Center. Our luncheon meeting programs include renowned guest speakers and performers who appear or work with the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Additional events may include musicales, galas, holiday get-togethers, tours and rehearsals. The Committee's special focus is the support of the Philharmonic's Music Library. We underwrite musical scores used by the orchestra.
