Hollywood Bowl Orchestra performing at Hollywood BowlOpening Night at the Bowl features the Annual Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame celebration with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and performances by the Bowl's most legendary artists. This year, join the celebration as we usher in the 87th season at the legendary Hollywood Bowl featuring spectacular performances by 2008 Hall of Fame inductees Liza Minnelli, Sir James Galway and B.B. King. This year’s opening night concert also includes a special fireworks finale commemorating 50 years of Rock 'n' Roll at the Hollywood Bowl with special guest Duane Eddy.

Garth Brooks, and John Williams (2000). Marilyn Horne, Monty Python Flying Circus, Bonnie and John Raitt, Stevie Wonder (2001), Kathleen Battle, George Harrison, Randy Newman, and Bernadette Peters (2002), Roger Daltrey, Nathan Lane, Patti LuPone, and the Smothers Brothers (2003). Brian Wilson, Henry Mancini and Sarah Chang (2004). Frank Sinatra, Joshua Bell, and Trisha Yearwood (2005). Carlos Santana and André Watts (2006). Last years’ inductees were Plácido Domingo, and Hollywood Bowl Orchestra founding director John Mauceri.
In addition to the inductees, special guests such as Whoopi Goldberg, Anthony Hopkins, Janet Jackson, Kevin Spacey, Steven Spielberg, Robin Williams, Josh Groban, Quincy Jones, Blue Man Group, and many other celebrities have taken to the stage to pay tribute to these great Hollywood Bowl entertainers.
