From sentimental storytelling to playful pop tunes, this evening of male/female singer-songwriter duos will make for an unforgettable night at the Bowl. Headliners The Swell Season is best known as the Irish/Czech pair (Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová) who won an Oscar for best original song, “Falling Slowly” from Once. They are preceded by the dreamy pop harmonies of M. Ward and Zooey Deschanel, known collectively as She & Him. Opening the show is The Bird and The Bee, an indie/synthpop/alternative duo from L.A., consisting of Inara George ("the bird") and Greg Kurstin ("the bee").
