Classical Tuesdays 1 (TU1)
Celebrated American conductor Michael Tilson Thomas kicks off the Bowl’s 2013 Classical season with Mahler’s explosive Second Symphony. Bowl favorite Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos leads an all-Russian program featuring Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring. French pianist Hélène Grimaud plays Brahms’ monumental First Piano Concerto. Superstar violinist Itzhak Perlman leads a program of Jewish liturgical and traditional works. The irrepressible Nicholas McGegan closes the series with a program of Mozart and Beethoven favorites that features two virtuosos from the LA Phil’s own ranks.

Classical Tuesdays 2 (TU2)
Bramwell Tovey opens this series with cellist Johannes Moser and Elgar's Cello Concerto. The perpetually cool Labèque sisters do what they do best when they tackle Mendelssohn’s Concerto for Two Pianos. Gustavo Dudamel leads a compelling cast for a thrilling performance of Verdi’s Requiem. Leon Botstein finishes an all-Russian program with Shostakovich’s defiant “Leningrad” Symphony. 21-year-old dynamo Daniil Trifonov makes his Bowl debut with Rachmaninoff’s Second Piano Concerto.

Classical Thursdays 1 (TH1)
The brilliant Gil Shaham ushers in the Thursday 1 series with Sibelius’ brooding Violin Concerto. Bowl Hall-of-Famer Jean-Yves Thibaudet returns with Liszt’s devilish Totentanz. The up-and-coming James Gaffigan leads an invigorating program of Beethoven, Strauss and Brahms. The exuberant violinist Ray Chen joins Nicholas McGegan for an all-Mendelssohn program. The electric Diavolo Dance Company returns to the Bowl with all-new choreography set to Philip Glass’ Symphony No. 3.

Classical Thursdays 2 (TH2)
LA Phil Principal Concertmaster Martin Chalifour joins Bramwell Tovey for an exciting series opener that includes Berlioz’s hallucinatory Symphonie fantastique. Baroque and Classical specialist Bernard Labadie brings Haydn’s “London” Symphony to life. Music Director Gustavo Dudamel illuminates Verdi’s monumentally stirring Requiem. Dudamel Fellow alum David Afkham makes his Bowl debut with a program of Brahms and Beethoven. Jakub Hrůša leads the LA Phil for the first time with a program that celebrates two powerhouse Czech composers.

KCRW's World Festival 1 (SU1)
Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley lives up to the lofty standards of reggae’s First Family as he headlines the Bowl’s annual Reggae Night for the first concert in this KCRW World Festival series. LA-based M83 (aka Anthony Gonzales) brings his shimmering synth-heavy sounds back to the Bowl with special guest Phantogram. Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros stars in a night of African rhythms and otherworldly music courtesy of the Sun Ra Arkestra and Oliver Mtukzi.

KCRW's World Festival 2 (SU2)
Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward, better known as She & Him, kick off this KCRW World Festival series with their unique brand of country-infused pop. Internationally-acclaimed duo Rodrigo y Gabriela return to the Bowl with an eclectically-influenced array of guitar heroics. Goat Rodeo – made up of virtuosos Yo-Yo Ma, Chris Thile, Edgar Meyer and Stuart Duncan – gives new meaning to the term “supergroup” as they bring their horizon-expanding musical stylings to the Bowl for the first time.

Jazz at the Bowl 1 (JZ1)
Long-time musical friends Sergio Mendes and Herb Alpert & Lani Hall share the stage for a night of sublime jazz and Brazilian rhythms. Comedian Steve Martin brings his love of bluegrass and the banjo to the Bowl to headline an eclectic evening of diverse musical styles. Legendary bluesman Buddy Guy and his searing guitar work anchor the Bowl’s annual Blues Night. Former LA Phil Creative Chair for Jazz Dianne Reeves and her unique interpretations of jazz and pop standards pave the way for a tribute to Nat King Cole by the one-of-a-kind George Benson.

Jazz at the Bowl 2 (JZ2)
Grammy- and Emmy-winning favorite Queen Latifah returns to the Bowl for the first time since her triumphant 2007 concert for the first jazz concert of the 2013 season. New Orleans pianist Dr. John pays tribute to the Big Easy’s favorite son Louis Armstrong. Natalie Cole brings an all new show to the Bowl in a return that’s bound to be unforgettable. LA Phil Creative Chair for Jazz Herbie Hancock leads a “who’s who” of talented friends and jazz-minded colleagues to celebrate living legend Wayne Shorter’s 80th birthday.

The internationally inspired Pink Martini returns to welcome you to weekends at the Bowl with their playfully chic blend of styles. American legend and outlaw troubadour Willie Nelson brings his hits and his unique interpretations of American classics back to the Bowl. Emmy- and Tony-award winning triple threat Kristen Chenoweth and the LA Phil share the Bowl stage for an unforgettable night of fireworks and family fun. Maestro of the Movies John Williams returns to the Bowl with his most popular film classics and a tribute to Blake Edwards and Henry Mancini. Earth, Wind & Fire anchor the Fireworks Finale with their legendary blend of funk, soul and R&B.

Bugs Bunny, Daffy, the rest of the Looney Tunes gang and much more join the LA Phil in the latest world-premiere concert from Warner Bros. An all-star cast makes the brilliantly sexy Chicago this year’s must-see musical. 17-time Grammy winner and living legend Tony Bennett brings his 60-plus years of interpreting the Great American Songbook to the Bowl stage. The beloved Tchaikovsky Spectacular lights up the August sky above the Hollywood Hills. The mysterious and playful Blue Man Group joins forces with Thomas Wilkins and the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra to delight and inspire audiences of all ages.

Sunday Sunset Concerts (SU3)
Pink Martini’s musical journey from Rio to the Rive Gauche leads off this series of Sunday spectaculars. The sexy tale of fame and fortune that is Chicago is our annual star-studded staged musical. Gustavo Dudamel leads the LA Phil and an internationally renowned cast in Verdi’s Aida. The funky, soulful grooves of Earth, Wind & Fire provide a fitting finale to the season with awe-inspiring pyrotechnics for 2013’s Fireworks Finale.

Hollywood Bowl Hall-of-Famer Josh Groban puts his pipes to patriotic use in the annual July 4th Fireworks Spectacular. The much-loved Grease Sing-A-Long is the latest in a long line of yearly Bowl traditions. Dave Koz and Friends headline a night of Smooth Summer Jazz under the stars. The Bowl’s big screen and Hollywood history are the real stars in The Big Picture. Tribute act Waterloo performs ABBA’s catalog of megahits in this year’s ABBA Fest. The Hollywood Hills are alive with The Sound of Music in everyone’s favorite sing-a-long event.
