Symphonies for Schools
Supported by The Walt Disney Company
Do you remember the first time you heard an orchestra?
The LA Phil provides students the opportunity to connect to passionate musicians, a world-class orchestra, and a concert hall that students have described as a silver tulip.
All teachers are invited to plan a field trip that begins in your own classroom. Teachers participate in workshops that inspire and enable you to guide students through music activities with cross-curricular connections.
Symphonies for Schools is generously sponsored by The Walt Disney Company and Max H. Gluck Foundation.
2019-20 applications have been closed. Notifications for this year's program will be sent via email in late November.

THIS YEAR'S CONCERT
Power to the People!
Music moves us. It can help us see the world through another person's eyes or rally us all together. The Power to the People! Symphonies for Schools concerts celebrate the musicians and artists who help us to imagine the life and experiences of others -- and it pays tribute to the music that gives us the strength to persevere when times are hard.
