About this Artist

Teocalli Ballet Folklórico México was established in 1996 in Zapopan, Jalisco, to promote and preserve Mexican culture through folk dance. Under the direction of Prof. José Francisco García Velázquez and Jorge Humberto Montes García, the company has become a renowned representative of Zapopan's culture.

In its 26 years, Teocalli Ballet has participated in numerous prestigious international festivals in countries including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, the United States, Spain, Peru, Venezuela, and Turkey, showcasing their impressive footwork and vibrant representation of Mexican heritage.
