RB Anthony is a dynamic French hornist and ensemble leader based in San Diego, recognized for his versatile musicianship and commitment to community-centered performance. Active across the region’s vibrant music scene, he performs regularly with the San Diego Symphony, chamber ensembles, and educational outreach programs, bringing both artistry and enthusiasm to the stage.
A native of Whittier, California, RB is the Founder and Artistic Director of Pacific Sound Brass, a professional brass ensemble known for imaginative programming and engaging audience experiences. From Disneyland to legendary stages, RB has performed nationally and has given countless masterclasses to students all over the nation.
As a performer, arranger, director, and educator in the field, RB has always had music as part of his life. Since 2013, an annual Brass and Organ concert in both San Diego and Dallas has been a favorite and memorable production. It is an honor to share the holiday stage with LA Phil colleagues in 2025.
