Kaiden Surti

Kaiden Surti, 15, is a violinist, tabla player, and composer whose musical journey began at age 5. Starting with tabla and adding violin a year later, he developed a passion for performing, recording, and composing across genres. A classical violinist, he was concertmaster of the OCSA Chamber Orchestra and performed with ensembles including the LA Youth Philharmonic, SCSBOA Honor Orchestra, and Junior Chamber Music. A member of OCSA Montage, he collaborates with dancers and vocalists in community performances. His experience spans solo, chamber, and orchestral settings, including cross-genre performances on electric violin and tabla.

Composing since age 9, Kaiden creates orchestral works, chamber music, film scores, and fusion pieces. His music has been recognized by ASCAP, NYYS First Music, MTAC Composers Today, and NPR's KCRW Young Creators Project. His fusion piece We Beat Together aired on KCRW and was performed at School Night at Bardot in Hollywood. Dedicated to pushing boundaries, Kaiden merges Indian and Western traditions into a distinctive musical voice.
