Jake Reed is a professional drummer based in Los Angeles. He has performed/recorded with Gwen Stefani “Shake the Snow Globe”, Stephen Bishop “Now that I’ve Hit the Big Time” (feat. He has also published a drumset instructional book Jazz Drumset Etudes, vol 1 (Alfred Music), been published in Modern Drummer magazine, released a solo album Reed Between the Lines (2020), and released six sample packs - SUPER LIVE DRUMS, SUPER DEAD DRUMS VOL. 1-4, and SUPER NATURAL DRUMS.

He has a BM from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, as well as, an MM and DMA from the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music, where he was Peter Erskine’s teaching assistant for five years. He endorses Gretsch drums, Zildjian cymbals, Vic Firth sticks, and Remo drumheads.
