YOLA at Inglewood | Age 13 

My name is Camila Higueros. I am 13 years old and attend YOLA at Inglewood. My involvement with music started at YOLA. And as for acting, this will be my first-ever chance to do it. The instrument I play is the cello, and it is the only instrument I play. What I enjoy about performing is the emotion of it. Performance is an art that many can watch and listen to but not all can replicate and make. It’s incredibly fascinating. Performing can impact the audience in many different ways, and I find that incredibly meaningful. This opportunity means my first step into acting. It’s my first step into a world that I have dreamed of entering and once thought was impossible to ever enter. With this first step, I will begin my steady pursuit to continue taking many more.
