YOLA at HOLA | Age 17 

Incoming UCLA freshman Jade Alfaro is a versatile violinist whose musical journey is deeply rooted in the Los Angeles community. As a longtime member of YOLA (Youth Orchestra Los Angeles), Jade progressed through the EXPO and HOLA campuses before reaching the highest levels of the Institute program at the Judith and Thomas L. Beckmen YOLA Center. A true multidisciplinary artist, she draws on 14 years of dance experience and a background in acting to bring a distinct rhythmic vitality and narrative depth to her performances. Jade is honored to join the Los Angeles Philharmonic for these historic performances of Cantata Criolla, celebrating Gustavo Dudamel’s transformative tenure at Walt Disney Concert Hall.
