Alexandra Yonkovich

About this Artist

Born and raised in Southern California, Alexandra Yonkovich is a dancer, choreographer, and educator. She earned her BFA from the University of Arizona and shortly after performed as ensemble and soloist with The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil. While with Cirque, Alexandra led as dance captain and Artist Coach while working with artists Hans Zimmer, Jewel, and Walk The Moon in several events presented by Cirque Du Soleil.

Alexandra has performed for Queen Latifah, Taylor Swift, Charli XCX, Lainey Wilson, Paris Jackson, and Jordin Sparks. She has done live performances as a principal in Russall S. Beattie’s “The Dark Knight Revue“ at Hollywood’s Ricardo Montalban Theatre and performed in Francesca Zambello’s Aida with LA Opera. Alexandra has made television appearances for Target, Kevin’s Natural Foods, Freeform’s Good Trouble, The Rose Parade, LIVE! with Kelly & Ryan, and Dancing With The Stars. In her performance credits, she has worked with choreographers Debbie Allen, Mandy Moore, Eboni Nichols, Sarah O’Gleby, and Jessica Lang and has assisted choreographers Galen Hooks, Tommy Tonge, and Marguerite Derricks.

Alexandra travels across the country teaching and setting choreography, dedicated to keeping the spirt of Jazz alive in the upcoming generation of dancers for Celebrity Conventions, Idyllwild Arts Academy, and many other academies across the United States.
