About this Artist

Education Through Music-LA partners with under-resourced schools to provide comprehensive music education as a core subject in school. Celebrating its 20th anniversary, ETM-LA is the first independent affiliate of the ETM model (NY) and has grown to serve over 18,000 students each year across five school districts (180,000 total youth). Through professional development, curriculum, and career pathways for teachers and youth, ETM-LA is driving systemic change. Partner schools have received California Distinguished Schools for the Arts Awards. Students and alumni have performed at the Grammy Awards and were featured in the music video for U2’s “Your Song Saved My Life” from the motion picture Sing 2. Visit etmla.org.
