The MITCH HANLON SINGERS have sung at the Hollywood Bowl since 1992. With the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra they have done three recordings, two tours to Japan, and dozens of memorable concerts. They have been the chorus for all the Bowl's musical productions including My Fair Lady with John Lithgow, Camelot with Jeremy Irons, and earlier this season The Sound of Music. They have also recorded with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra on two of their Grammy-nominated albums.

They have sung with many stars at venues throughout the Southland including a concert with Kristin Chenoweth at the Greek Theater earlier this summer, at the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim with Sarah Brightman, and at the Irvine Barclay with Judy Collins. They have also sung with such stars as Julie Andrews, Roger Daltrey, Patti LuPone, Jonathan Pryce, Patrick Stewart, Rebecca Luker, andd Lea Salonga; they last sang with the Los Angeles Philharmonic under Marvin Hamlisch.

The founder and director, Mitchell Hanlon, is the Assistant Conductor for the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and has assisted Maestro John Mauceri since the orchestra began here 16 seasons ago. A conductor of operetta and musical theater, Hanlon has performed extensively throughout the Los Angeles area, having made his Hollywood Bowl conducting debut in 1996, and his European conducting debut with Candide in Turin, Italy in 1997. He currently teaches voice and musical theater in the nationally recognized program at California State University, Fullerton.
