In addition to realizing costumes for this production of Alice in Wonderland, JEMIMA PENNY’s current and future theater and opera projects include Game and Carmen Disruption at the Almeida Theatre, London, and Legally Blonde and Singing in the Rain at Kilworth House Theatre, Leicestershire.

Her credits for associate costume design and supervision include Curlew River at the Barbican Centre, London, and on a 2014 U.S. tour; Marco Polo with the Bergen National Opera; Where the Wild Things Are and Higgledy Piggledy Pop! at the Barbican in London, Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, and the Aldeburgh Music Festival; Mamma Mia! in Cape Town, South Africa, and Seoul, Korea; and Much Ado About Nothing for the Lord Chamberlain’s Men UK summer tour.

Penny’s costume supervision credits include ’Tis Pity She’s a Whore at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, London; Mr. Burns, a Post Electric Play, at the Almeida Theatre; Edward II at the Royal National Theatre; Mamma Mia! in Shanghai, China; Le nozze di Figaro for Sadler’s Wells, London, and Teatro Ventidio Bassi, Ascoli Piceno; The White Devil for Menier Chocolate Factory; and Dickens Unplugged for the Comedy Theatre, London. Her costume designs were featured in Minimus, directed by Johnny Hopkins (Pulse Films); In the Dark Half, directed by Alastair Siddons (South West Films); and Where Have I Been All Your Life, directed by Jim Field Smith (BBC Comedy / Futureshorts).
