Lola Goetz

About this Artist

Lola Goetz is a composer, classical pianist, jazz pianist, singer, and songwriter. She is a senior at Crossroads School for Arts and Sciences, and she is President of the Elizabeth Mandell Music Institute. She has been studying composition for six years, and she has been studying classical piano for eleven years with Mary Ann Cummins. Currently, she studies composition with Ian Krouse, Laura Karpman, and Nora Kroll-Rosenbaum. This past summer, she had the opportunity to participate in the GRAMMY Museum's film scoring program. In 2024, she attended the Juilliard Summer Composition Program and Sunset Chamberfest's Young Composers Workshop. In 2023, she recorded a composition at the Warner Brothers Studio with a professional orchestra through the LAYCW. Her compositions have been performed at many different venues including the Lincoln Center Plaza, the GRAMMY Museum, Art Share LA, the Daniel Pearl World Music Concert, several EMMI concerts, and more. After graduation, Lola is aiming to study classical composition at a music conservatory and go on to pursue a career in film scoring.
