As a struggling young local band straight outta Brooklyn and fresh out of high school, trying to get a record deal in the early 1980’s was tough. Fortunately, this young persistent band finally gained recognition for its multifaceted roles as music producers... and performers. The talented six-man collective (Bowlegged Lou, Paul Anthony, B-Fine, Baby Gerry, JR and Curttt), better known as FULL FORCE, has been consistently and successfully creating great music as far back as the mid 80’s, 90's, early 2000's and beyond! Full Force is a band/group that first gained recognition as music producers by creating the hip hop classic hit song "Roxanne, Roxanne" by UTFO. This hip hop phenomenon of a song spawned 84 answer records and birthed the career of several female rappers, like the Real Roxanne and Roxanne Shante (Roxanne's Revenge) to name a few. To show their versatility, Full Force then went on to create the group Lisa-Lisa & Cult Jam, where they wrote and produced several #1 hits, such as: "I Wonder if I Take You Home," "AllCried Out," "Can You Feel The Beat," "Lost In Emotion," "Head to Toe" and more. Full Force went on to produce and write for many artists, such as: Patti labelle, Lil Kim, N-Sync, Rihanna, James Brown, Michael Jordan's Playground, Ex Girlfriend, The Backstreet Boys, Allure, Howard Hewitt, Whodini, Force MD's, Cheryl "Pepsii" Riley, Selena, 3LW and more.
As music artists in their own right, Full Force the band/group was known for combining hip hop and R&B with powerful vocals, catchy melodies with a unique rebellious rock & soul-type energetic show. The band created hits for themselves such as "Ain’t My Type of Hype” (from the movie "House Party), “Alice, I Want You Just for Me,” “Temporary Love Thing” and their top 10 R&B hit "All in My Mind” from their album Guess Who's Comin' To The Crib.
Who are the Full Force Brothers?
The Full Force Brothers consists of B-Fine, Paul Anthony and Bowlegged Lou. Not only are they part of the legendary music production/songwriting team FULL FORCE, but the brothers have also been in the music/entertainment since small children where they won amatuer night at the Apollo four consecutive times. The Full Force Brothers headed the business management side of the production company for many years. They have also starred in movies such as “Krush Groove” and “Who’s The Man”. But they are most known for their starring roles as the scene-stealing bullies in the hip-hop classic movie “House Party”.
As Full Force continues producing songs, films and creative content.... the Full Force Brothers continue to carry on the Full Force legacy as dynamic performers!
