Jonah Nilsson, lead vocalist and keyboardist of Dirty Loops, hails from Stockholm, Sweden, where he began singing in his parents' church choir at the age of 1. At Royal College of Music, Jonah started Pop-Jazz band Dirty Loops with long-time friends, Henrik and Aron. Unintentionally, the band made an international name for themselves with their twisted pop covers, garnering over a total of 25 million Youtube views to date, from their take on “Just Dance” by Lady Gaga to “Wake Me Up” by Avicii - who is “a big, big fan!"
Dirty Loops attracted the attention of many, including David Foster, who signed the band to Verve Records. In 2014, the band released their album Loopified, which was produced by the band and executive produced by David Foster and Andreas Carlsson.
Jonah has headlined world tours, performed on national television in front of millions, and supported artists such as Maroon 5. He has acquired a significant fan base of high-profile musicians, including Adam Levine, Brian McKnight, Rodney Jerkins, Dallas Austin, and Stevie Wonder. Jonah is now signed to Quincy Jones and working on his debut solo album, ready to flood the world with his love for music and love for his fans.
