    WHAT:

    The 2016/17 Chamber Music series at Walt Disney Concert Hall begins with an all-Beethoven program featuring members of the Los Angeles Philharmonic on Tuesday, October 4, at 8:00 pm.

    The two four-concert Chamber Music series feature members of the Los Angeles Philharmonic in intimate Tuesday evening performances. Additionally, pianist Emanuel Ax will join members of the orchestra for a chamber music program on January 31.  

    Programs this season also include works from Bartok, Shostakovich, Bach, Carter, Schumann, Mozart, Brahms, Dvorak, and Schubert, among others. One of the series will also conclude with a program including the world premiere of Anders Hillborg's The MAX Duo for cello and piano, commissioned by the LA Phil.
