    WHAT:
    Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic present a live recording of Tchaikovsky’s celebrated ballet The Nutcracker, set for release in conjunction with the soundtrack for Disney's new film The Nutcracker and the Four Realms, for which Dudamel conducted the original James Newton Howard score.

    The Nutcracker will be available for digital download on November 16, 2018, and released as a 2-CD set on November 30, 2018, by Deutsche Grammophon. This project marks the starting point of DG’s new partnership with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and Gustavo Dudamel, who celebrates his tenth season with the orchestra this year.

    Pre-orders are available starting today, Friday, October 26. Those who pre-order via iTunes and Amazon Music, will receive a free “instant gratification” track, “Waltz of the Snowflakes.”
