Beyond being a globally iconic music venue, the Hollywood Bowl is a public park and shared space stewarded by the LA Phil in partnership with Los Angeles County for the benefit of our community.
Affordable and accessible
Music connects us as a community, and it must be accessible to all. For that reason, every classical and jazz concert at the Bowl offers $1 tickets, and in 2024, the LA Phil distributed 76,000 free tickets for the summer season. More than 45% of Bowl attendance was made possible through free and affordable access initiatives.
Investing in transportation and our neighborhood
The LA Phil continues to work closely with local authorities and transportation officials to ensure that the impact of concert traffic is minimized for our neighbors, attendees, and our environment. In 2025, a record 39% of Hollywood Bowl attendees used either the Hollywood Bowl Shuttle or Park & Ride options, taking more than 115,400 vehicles off local roads that season.

Stewarding a cultural landmark
The Hollywood Bowl is a public park that is open and accessible to visitors and Los Angeles residents outside of concerts. The LA Phil works closely with the Department of Parks and Recreation to steward the natural beauty and health of the Hollywood Hills. The Bowl received Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary certification in 2010 and has been recertified consistently since then for energy and water conservation and protection of wildlife habitat.
Neighborhood partnerships
The Bowl works closely with seven different neighborhood associations distributing tickets, holding community meetings, and soliciting feedback to improve our operations. The Hollywood Bowl Community Grant Program—a collaboration with Live Nation’s philanthropic arm and the Los Angeles County Parks Foundation— provides $100,000 annually to neighborhood groups for local programs and beautification efforts.
