Seat naming opportunities do not include ticket purchases, memberships, reservations, or rights to sit in the named seat during events held at the Hollywood Bowl. Naming is guaranteed for a 10-year term.

Can I sit in my named seat?
You are welcome to purchase tickets in your named seat, if available! Donors to Your Name Under the Stars do not receive tickets, memberships, reservations, or other rights or guarantees to sit in the named seats during events held at the Hollywood Bowl in exchange for their gift.
What does my gift support?
Gifts to the Your Name Under the Stars campaign support the work of the LA Phil at the Hollywood Bowl including capital improvements, concert programming, learning and community initiatives, audience development, technology projects, and general operations.
Is this contribution tax deductible?
Yes! The LA Phil is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our Federal Tax ID is 95-1696734.
Does my gift count toward my Friends membership?
No, gifts to support Your Name Under the Stars do not include membership benefits.
Why aren’t the Pool Circle boxes available for naming?
The Pool Circle is a unique seating section that includes named boxes for Pool Circle patrons on a rotating basis and is therefore not included in this campaign.

Yes, like the Hollywood Bowl itself, we wanted the Your Name Under the Stars program to be available to as many music lovers as possible.
When will my plaque be installed?
Plaques are installed on a rolling basis and may take up to twelve weeks to be installed.

What text inscriptions can be placed on a plaque?
Your Name Under the Stars plaque naming inscriptions are limited to 30 characters and designed for the individual making the gift. The LA Phil and Hollywood Bowl reserve the right in their sole discretion to reject any seat inscriptions. What are the plaque sizes?
All plaques in Boxes and Benches (Sections D through P) are 2 inches tall by 8 inches wide. Plaques in the Super Seats, Benches (Sections Q through V), Ramp Boxes, and Wheelchair Seats will be 2 inches tall by 4 inches wide. Please see photos in FAQ for reference.
What are the plaques made of?
Plaques are made of brushed stainless steel, ensuring durability throughout the life of the plaque.
How long will the plaque be placed?
Plaques will be placed and maintained for ten years from the date of installation. After ten years, you may have the option to renew your naming before the general public to keep your plaque in place.
Do I have to pay the full amount upfront or can I make payments over time?
We accept pledges of up to three years, but your first payment must include at least 50% of the naming opportunity amount.
Does the entire pledge have to be paid before the plaque is installed?
No, but we ask that 50% of the pledge is paid before the plaque is placed.
