Sterling Elliott has been praised for his stellar stage presence and joyful musicianship. The “radiant young cellist” (The Washington Post) joins the LA Phil for Dvořák’s gem. Capping off the evening, Anna Rakitina leads Shostakovich’s thunderous and powerful Fifth Symphony.
