Gracie Lawrence is an accomplished actress and musician who co-fronts the soul-pop band Lawrence alongside her brother Clyde.

Lawrence is an eight-piece soul-pop band comprised of musician friends from childhood and college. The band has gained a devoted following for its high-energy, keyboard-driven sound, which features tight, energetic horns and explosive lead vocals. Lawrence’s dynamic blend of classic influences with contemporary energy also earned them a 2026 Grammy nomination.

In 2024, Gracie appeared as a series regular in the third season of Mindy Kaling and Justin Noble’s The Sex Lives of College Girls on Max, playing the character of Kacey. In 2025 returned to Broadway starring opposite Tony winner Jonathan Groff in Alex Timbers’ “JUST IN TIME”, a new musical that tells the story of legendary singer Bobby Darin. Gracie played Connie Francis and her performance, hailed by The New York Theatre Guide as “a blazing, must-see”, earned her a Tony nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Musical.

Most recently, the band completed a 12-week run performing on Broadway as part of All Out, written by Simon Rich and directed by Alex Timbers which featured original music by Lawrence. Gracie was featured for her powerhouse vocals and acted in several scenes - making this her third time on a Broadway stage.
