William Christian

WILLIAM CHRISTIAN is best known for his portrayal of Derek Frye on the popular ABC Television Network daytime drama, All My Children, a role he portrayed for fifteen years. For his role on the show, Christian was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series and has been twice nominated for NAACP Image Awards.

Christian has amassed numerous theater credits in New York and in prominent regional theaters. He received an NAACP Theater Award and an LA Weekly Theatre Award, as well as nomination for a 2004 Ovation Award (Stage Directions, Best Ensemble).

Among Christian’s television credits include appearances on Law & Order, Spin City, Malcolm In The Middle, Without A Trace, The Cosby Show, Moonlight, Hannah Montana, ER, Monk, Desperate Housewives, Prison Break, and Medium. A Washington, DC native, Christian was nominated for two local Emmy Awards for a children’s show, It’s Elementary. His film credits include The January Man, Love And Orgasms, and Nine Lives.
