About this Performance
Joshua Bell headlines one of the Bowl’s most treasured annual traditions, lending his star power to Tchaikovsky’s incomparable Violin Concerto. Ludovic Morlot leads the LA Phil in selections from The Nutcracker as well as a tribute performance of Urban Runway, composed by the late Bramwell Tovey, who charmed and awed Bowl audiences in his many performances in past Tchaikovsky Spectacular concerts. The night concludes with the 1812 Overture, performed with the help of the USC Trojan Marching Band and matching pyrotechnics.
