CHINESE CLASSICAL MUSIC ENSEMBLE's performances of classical and original repertoires on Chinese and western instruments have been featured in numerous concerts and soundtracks such as performances with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, San Francisco Symphony, and several films for more than a decade. In 2002, this group's enthusiastic performance at Los Angeles Music Center was featured in a highlight broadcast that aired nationally on PBS. The ensemble includes Zhiming Han on yangqin (butterfly harp) and dizi (bamboo flute); Cynthia Hsiang on zheng (Chinese long zither); Qichao Liu on sheng (Chinese mouth organ); and Tingting Chang (dancer, choreographer).
