PAULA CHRISTENSEN is thrilled to be appearing at Walt Disney Concert Hall alongside the prolific Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra, having performed with the Cal State L.A. New Music Ensemble as Genio Revueltas – the spirited daughter of famed Mexican composer Silvestre Revueltas – in The Song that Killed the Snake, a play that premiered as part of the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s Crossing Borders: Latin-American Visions program in 2003.

Paula was last seen on the Los Angeles stage performing opposite Florence Henderson and Meredith Baxter in Nora Ephron’s Love, Loss, and What I Wore at the Geffen Theater. Other recent theater credits include The School of Night (Mark Taper Forum), Manna: Or the Book of Madeline (South Coast Repertory NewSCRipts series, dir. Anna D. Shapiro), The Clean House (Ensemble Theater Company, dir. Jenny Sullivan), The Third From The Left (Playwrights’ Arena, dir. Jon Lawrence Rivera), Phaedra (Antaeus Company @ The Getty Villa), The Orange Grove (Playwrights’ Arena), and Cyrano de Bergerac and A Christmas Carol (South Coast Repertory). Film credits include Open House, Now Here, and La Casa de Azucar. Recent television appearances include Free Agents, The Bold and The Beautiful, Justice, Boomtown, and Big Time Rush. She is a magna cum laude with honors graduate from Amherst College.
