Young Musicians Foundation (YMF), a non-profit organization founded in 1955, is proud to celebrate its 45th year of providing encouragement and recognition to gifted young musicians through financial assistance, performance opportunities, and music education outreach programs.

One of YMF’s ten programs, the DEBUT ORCHESTRA provides important orchestral training to young instrumentalists ranging in age from 14 to 26. The orchestra is acclaimed as one of the premiere pre-professional orchestras in the country. The great number of Debut alumni who are now members of the world’s major orchestras illustrates the value and the success of the training provided.

YMF also administers the following youth programs: Scholarship Program, Chamber Music Series, Arts Management Training Program, Debut Competition, Outreach Program, Youth Mentor Artists Program, and Instrument Loan Program.
