About this Artist

The DOWNEY HIGH SCHOOL JAZZ BAND, led by music teacher Cory Olariu, is one of many school orchestras and jazz bands participating in a partnership with the LA Phil. The young musicians in this program receive coaching and masterclasses by LA Phil musicians, guest jazz artists, and teaching artists, and attend LA Phil open rehearsals and concerts.
