About this Artist

LAUREN FROST, 16 years old, is an accomplished actress and singer from Downers Grove, Illinois, and has performed professionally in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, Chicago, and Australia. Her theatrical credits include Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz; Annie in Annie; Brigitta in The Sound of Music; Lucy in You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown; Tootie Smith in Meet Me in St. Louis; Bette in Oliver; Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof; Alice in Alice in Wonderland; Mary Lenox in The Secret Garden; Molly and Felicity in The American Girls Revue; and Mary in The Night of the Hunter (with Tony Award-winning director Robert Falls).

Frost recently toured nationally and internationally with the world-renowned actress, singer, producer, and director Barbra Streisand, the Pulitzer prize-winning musical director Marvin Hamlisch, and the accomplished directors Kenny Ortega and Richard Jay Alexander in Streisand’s Timeless concert shows.

Frost portrayed “Child Barbra” throughout the Timeless show, singing parts of five songs with Streisand and joining the ranks of Barbra’s duets with such notables as Barry Gibb, Bryan Adams, Celine Dion, and Frank Sinatra. The Timeless show aired on FOX and can be seen and heard on the Timeless: Live in Concert video, DVD, and CD recordings.

Working with Streisand has been “a dream come true,” says Frost. To get to work and sing with Streisand, and to portray her as a young girl throughout her show, was a privilege that Frost says she “...will never, ever forget. For Barbra to trust me, and believe in my singing and acting abilities, is the best professional acknowledgement I have ever received.”

Frost has won numerous singing honors, most recently receiving the award for Outstanding International Female Singer at the 22nd Annual Young Artist Awards in Studio City, California. She is also currently recording her own CD.

All who know Frost agree with Streisand, who said Frost “...is the sweetest girl...with the most beautiful voice...a very spiritual human being and very pure...real person with a real gift.”

Frost has been a featured performer on FOX TV, WLS, and KIIS FM radio, The American Girls Revue CD, The Rosie O’Donnell Show, Entertainment Tonight, CBS’ The Early Show, Inside Edition, FAO Schwarz Xtra-O Kids, and Lifetime Live. She has also appeared at the LA Cabaret Comedy Club, Bennet’s Jazz Club, the Loretto International Gala, the Big Sisters of LA Rising Star Event, the Starry Nights Celebrity Benefit, the Hollywood Reporter’s Young Star Awards, the American Film Institute’s Tribute to Barbra Streisand, and in the Twilight Productions film Divorce, The Musical.

Frost can currently be seen in her TV role as Ruby on The Disney Channel’s Even Stevens, and is also starring as Casey in the new Disney pilot show Virtually Casey.
