About this Artist
DAN GAUTHIER was raised in Madris, Oregon, along with his two siblings. When offered the opportunity to attend San Diego State on a track scholarship, he jumped at the chance.
Dan fell in love with California and upon graduation relocated to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. While studying acting, he had the privilege of working with several wonderful teachers, including Stella Adler, Joan Darling, and Steven Book.
Since settling in Los Angeles, Dan has enjoyed a busy and successful acting career, appearing in the Touchstone feature Son-In-Law as well as garnering roles on numerous television series, including Friends, Ellen, Sisters, Melrose Place, and Beverly Hills, 90210. He will next be seen in a lead role in William Shatner’s directorial debut film Groom Lake.
Early in his career, he fell in love with the theater when he appeared in the David Marshall Grant-directed production of Bent at the Coast Playhouse. Having the opportunity to return to his roots and once again perform on stage is truly a dream come true.
Gauthier is married with one son and resides in Los Angeles.
