About this Artist
Adriana Manfredi, Mezzo-soprano, completed degrees at the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) and Oberlin College and Conservatory. Recent solo credits include the January 2011 west coast premiere of David Lang’s the little match girl passion (Jacaranda: music on the edge), The Cunning Little Vixen (Long Beach Opera), Ceremony of Carols, The City of Dis by Andriessen (LA Philharmonic), St. Matthew Passion, Lord Nelson Mass and Harmoniemesse by Haydn (Los Angeles Master Chorale), International Festival Ensemble Stuttgart/ Berlin under the direction of Helmuth Rilling, and feature film soundtracks including Cowboys and Aliens. Her voice is heard with the Los Angeles Master Chorale on A Good Understanding, a 2010 Decca release of the choral music of Nico Muhly.
