MARILYN L. MCCOY, an Adjunct Professor of Music History at Columbia University, has served on the music faculties of Clark University, New England Conservatory of Music, Boston University, Brandeis University, the University of New Hampshire, MIT, Loyola Marymount University, and the University of Southern California. In addition to her appointment since 2002 as annual pre-concert lecturer for the MahlerFest in Boulder, Colorado, Dr. McCoy has spoken at Carnegie Hall, the Mostly Mozart Festival, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and the Bard Music Festivals "Mahler and His World," (2002) and "Berg and His World" (2010). Though primarily a Mahler scholar, she was Assistant Archivist at the Arnold Schoenberg Institute in Los Angeles for the last three years of its existence (1995-98).
