J. MARK MCVEY (Jean Valjean) made his Broadway debut as Jean Valjean in Les Misérables after winning the Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Actor while in Washington, D.C. The first American to perform as Valjean in London’s West End, McVey was there for seven wonderful years and a total of 2,912 performances. In 2006, McVey received his first gold record for his participation on the Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s album, The Lost Christmas Eve (2004). J. Mark McVey is happily married to Christy Tarr-McVey, and is the proud father of two beautiful daughters, seven-year-old Grace Holly and four-year-old Kylie Elizabeth.
