About this Artist
TARA PLATT is a recent transplant to Los Angeles from New York, where she has performed in film, television, and off-Broadway. In New York, Platt was most recently seen as Meredith in Alan Ball's Five Women Wearing the Same Dress, Clara in the Inverse Theatre production of The Burnt Woman of Harvard, and Ginny in Manhattan Theatre Source's 2 Very Dangerous People.... She also starred in the independent film Model Chaser, which recently was honored at the 2002 Hamptons Film Festival. Since arriving in L.A., her roles have ranged from Annie in the West Coast premiere of Clive Barker's Crazyface at the Sacred Fools Theatre to Juliet, Katherine, and Titania in "All the World's a Stage" with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion as part of the Toyota Symphonies for Youth series. She also originated the roles of Abby in Honor Role at the Stella Adler Theatre and Elle in The Difficulty of Being Frank at the Gardner Stages. She is currently performing in the Lysistrata Project with the CircleX Theatre Company.
