Conductor, composer, curator, and performer Christopher Rountree has distinguished himself as one of classical music’s most forward-thinking innovators in programming and community building. Rountree is the founder and artistic director of Wild Up, curator of Darkness Sounding, and the Music Director of Long Beach Opera. He has been the artistic director of SILENCE an interdisciplinary ambient series in an oak grove in LA, and curator of the LA Phil's Fluxus Festival.
