Baritone WILLIAM SHARP has appeared throughout the United States with leading orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, the St. Louis Symphony, the New Jersey Symphony, the New Haven Symphony, the Rochester Philharmonic, the Syracuse Symphony, and the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, and at the Lincoln Center’s Mostly Mozart Festival, and the Aspen, Colorado, and Marlboro Music Festivals.

His honors include a 1989 Grammy nomination for Best Classical Vocal Performance; winner of the highest prize in the 1983 Geneva International Competition for singers; winner of the Young Concert Artist’s International Auditions; and the Kathleen Ferrier Memorial Prize. William Sharp has recorded for Vox-Turnabout, Newport Classics, Columbia Records, Nonesuch, CRI, Bard, and Koch International. Since 1993, he has been an associate professor of music at Boston University’s School for the Arts.
