HERSCHEL SPARBER (Big Jule) appeared on Broadway in the original cast of City of Angels directed by Michael Blakemore and the Jerry Zaks production of Guys and Dolls. Additionally, he appeared Off-Broadway in the Last Manhattan at the Row Theatre. A founding member of Tennessee Repertory Theatre in Nashville, he appeared in Of Mice and Men, Man of La Mancha, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream during its first two seasons. Regionally, he has worked at the Mark Taper Forum, the Cleveland Playhouse, the Birmingham Theatre, Kings County Shakespeare, Reprise at UCLA, San Jose Music Theater, Music Theatre West, the Sacramento Music Circus, and Civic Light Opera of South Bay Cities, among others. Some film and television credits include The Birdcage, Osmosis Jones, My Name Is Earl, NYPD Blue, Colorado News Radio, Boy Meets World, Rockford Files, and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. He also works as a voiceover artist in both animation and commercials. Herschel has been a proud member of Actors Equity Association since 1984.
