JODI BENSON celebrates her 18th year with the Walt Disney Company and has received worldwide recognition and critical acclaim as the voice of Ariel in the Oscar winning Disney film, "The Little Mermaid" as well as the bubbly voice of Tour Guide Barbie in Disney's "Toy Story II". She also gave life to the spirited Weebo in Disney's live action "Flubber" starring Robin Williams. For Warner Brothers, she created the title voice for "Thumbelina" with songs by Barry Manilow.

Jodi's recent projects include "The Little Mermaid II"(Ariel), "Lady and the Tramp II"(Lady), "101 Dalmatians II" (Anita), DreamWorks' "Joseph: King of Dreams"(Asenath) and "Balto I and II"(Jenna) for Universal.

Ms. Benson received a Tony Award & Helen Hayes Award nomination for Best Actress in a Musical creating the starring role of Polly in the Tony Award winning Broadway Gershwin musical "Crazy For You". Other Broadway credits include "Smile"(Ashman/Hamlisch-role of Doria),"Welcome To The Club"(Betty) and "Marilyn: An American Fable" (Virginia).

In Los Angeles: "Babes In Arms" (Bunny-Reprise/UCLA), "South Pacific" (Nellie Forbush-Pasadena Civic), "My Fair Lady" (Eliza Doolittle-Alex Theatre) and "Chess" (Florence Vassey-Long Beach).

In concert, she has appeared as the guest soloist at The Hollywood Bowl with John Mauceri, The Tokyo Philharmonic, Century Osaka, Washington, San Francisco, Dallas and Seattle Symphonies among others. Ms. Benson is honored to be the resident guest soloist for the Walt Disney Co. at all their special events.
