Eamon Foley is the artistic director of Grind Arts Company, a nonprofit theater organization he founded at Princeton University that exists at the intersection of digital and performing art. Eamon began working on Broadway at nine years old, performing in the original casts of Gypsy (directed by Sam Mendes), Assassins (directed by Joe Mantello), 13! The Musical, How The Grinch Stole Christmas, and Everyday Rapture (directed by Micheal Meyer). As director and choreographer he has helmed an array of productions under the Grind Arts umbrella including Natti Vogel’s recent music video “Brown Rice,” “Sinnerman” (virtual reality experience), Color + Light (short film), Paradise Lost (immersive theater experience), Cyrano (FringeNYC Award Winner), The Last Five Years, Sweeney ToddNine, and Hero. In Los Angeles, he has choreographed Michael Arden’s productions of Merrily We Roll Along and WelcomeFest! at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Arts in Beverly Hills, as well as Swan Lake: The Musical at The Montalban Theater. He has also choreographed for Macy’s, Deloitte, Broadway Bares, Princeton University Ballet, and films by Becca Gleason and Graham Phillips. He is a proud Gypsy Robe winner and Graduate of Princeton University (’15). Eamon owes a massive thank you to Penny, Justin, Mom and Dad, this wonderful team led by Michael Arden, Mark Morris Dance Group, BodyHype Dance Company, Buddy, and all of you for supporting live theater.
