About this Artist
Luke Sterling has been a fellow in the LA Phil Nancy and Barry Sanders Composer Fellowship Program since 2018. He is an accomplished pianist, saxophonist, and music producer, and enjoys playing drums, percussion, bass, and guitar. Luke has contributed music to feature films and has scored several student and independent short films. Luke released his five-song EP Flipside in 2017 and is currently preparing to release new music. In the spring of 2017, Luke was the youngest writer chosen to work with legendary music producer/writer Babyface at his studio in Hollywood. He was also the youngest participant selected for the Bill Green Jazz Mentorship in 2017. When not making music, he studies philosophy and theology and is an avid science fiction reader. Luke is currently a sophomore at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts where he majors in music.
