About this Artist

BERNARDO RONDEAU has served as Associate Curator/Head of Film Programs for the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures since 2013. Previously he was Assistant Curator for the Los Angeles County Museum of Art where he presented the first-ever Los Angeles retrospectives of Bela Tarr, Bong joon-ho, Arnaud Desplechin and Lee Chang-dong among others. Rondeau has served as an Associate Programmer at AFI FEST.  He holds an M.A.  in  Cinema  and  Media  Studies  from  the  University  of  California,  Los  Angeles’s  School  of  Theater,  Film  and  Television, where  he  serves  as  an  adjunct  professor.
