About this Artist

JULIA KRAWCZYNSKI (scenic design) works as a stage and costume designer in Austria and Germany. After earning her Diploma at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, she started working at the Vienna State Opera over the course of three years as production manager in the department for stage design. Currently, she works at the DNT (Deutsches Nationaltheater und Staatskapelle Weimar). As part of the artist collective “Wiener Maler,” she designs sets for the Icelandic contemporary artist Ragnar Kjartansson.
