About this Artist
ANDA SKRĒJĀNE (scenic design) works as a freelance scenographer currently based in Brussels. She holds a Mag. Art. degree from the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, Stage and Film design department. As a part of the collective “Wiener Maler” she works with the artist Ragnar Kjartansson on performances and exhibitions that have taken place at Palais de Tokyo, TBA21, and Volksbühne Berlin. Her work also extends to collaborations with the New Zealand performance artist Kate McIntosh. Anda’s recent projects include Childhood’s Dream (winner of the Latvian Theater Award for Contemporary Dance Achievement of the Year) and co-curating the Latvian Pavilion at the 2018 Venice Architecture Biennale.
