Shannon Grayson

About this Artist

Shannon Grayson, a native of Baton Rouge, LA, is a dance artist and educator. She received a BFA in Dance from Howard University and continued her training on scholarship at Jacob’s Pillow and the Lou Conte Dance Studio.

Shannon has taught for Hubbard Street Dance Chicago’s Professional training programs, LCDS, and Education & Community Programs. She has also been an adjunct faculty member at Columbia College Chicago, and Dominican University, River Forest, IL.  She has performed professionally with Muntu Dance Theatre and Winifred Haun & Dancers and is  currently a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and guest lecturer at USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance. Every performance and class from Shannon is dedicated to the loving memory to her Mother, Carmella B Johnson.
