A Latin Grammy nominated artist, Remedios Amaya has been popular with international audiences since the debut of her first self-titled album in ’78. Several top selling albums followed, among them “Me Voy Contigo,” (produced by Vicente Amigo), “Gitana Soy,” (collaboration with Paco de Lucia), “Luna Gitana,” “Las Reinas,” “Sonsonete,” “Sin Ti,” “No Puedo Vivir,” and “Rompiendo el Silencio.”

One of the most respected Gypsy singers, she has expounded on traditional rhythms in the genres of tangos flamencos, Spanish rumba, and flamenco-rock on records like “Luna Nueva” and “Seda en mi Piel.”
